Senior Hurling: The Our Claypipe Bar sponsored senior hurling team defeated Roscommon Geals in the B county championship on Saturday evening last. This was an excellent victory for the lads as they showed great determination to seal the win. The Geals made the best of the opening few minutes but a superb goal from Naos Connaughton made sure the Dominics lads went in level at half time. It was the second half performance that was truly inspirational. Despite losing a player to a red card early in the second half the lads really dug deep and showed fantastic resilience so hold out for a two point win. It was a hard fought win but one that was truly deserved. The management would like to thank all the lads who made the effort to tog out for the game. We now play Tremane in the final, time and date to be confirmed later.
