Senior Football: A meeting of the Senior Football Club takes place this Tuesday night 5th May at 9pm in the Meeting room. All welcome. Intermediate Championship: Dominics begin their Championship campaign this Sunday with a home game against Fuerty. These sides met in the League a couple of weeks ago with Fuerty coming out on top, so Malachy Gatelys men will start as favourites for this one. Dominics will again be fielding without the injured Michael Finneran, Paul Dolan and Robbie Byrne, James Miley, Exams and Liam Kilcline and Naos Connaughton on Nicky Rackard duty, but will have Paul Joyce, Michael Byrne and Kieran Dockery available again. The defence have been performing well in the League, Ollie Milton and Senan Farrell should form a strong midfield but the forward line will have to take their scores on Sunday if we are to prevail. This is the Managements first Championship outing and no doubt Mark O’Carroll and John Benton will have some homework done on their opponents. The game is in Knockcroghery at 2pm so come out and support the lads. Training continues on Wednesday and Friday for all footballers.
