Best of luck to the team and management. The U16 team will play Four Roads in the County U16B final on Tuesday evening, 4th October, at 7:30pm in Ballyforan. Noel and Caoilfhionn have put a lot of work into the team and we wish them the very best of luck on Tuesday. All support would be greatly appreciated. Last Sunday, the Sinead Beirne tournament was held. This was the 14th year of the tournament and the Camogie club thank the Beirne family for their generous patronage. The winning team was captained by Katie Lohan and also included Lily Murray, Iona Hanley, Katie O’Connor, Eve Connaughton, Michelle Rogers, Hope Sherwin, Sarah Kilcline and Jessica Dolan. A great afternoon of camogie was had by all between the rain showers. This finishes up the season for the U8s, U10s and U12s. The club would like to thank all the girls for their huge effort over the year and also to the parents for helping out and bringing the girls to training and matches. The numbers playing Camogie in the club have increased again this year and the club would like to place on record our thanks for all those that helped with training during the year. Keep practicing over the winter and we will see you all again next year.
