Minor Football
Beginners football training: Training for all the above groups starts back on Sunday, 20th March at 12.30 pm. U-14 football training continues on this Thursday evening in Lecarrow Community Centre at 7.15 pm.

Camogie
Senior training continues every Friday night at 7.30 pm (dual players, 8 pm). Our next game is at home on Saturday at 11 am v St. Oliver Plunketts of Mullingar. All players required in dressing room at 10.30 am.

Congratulations to Micheala Craven, Aisling Byrne, Ciana Kelly, Celine Fee, Niamh Egan and Aoife Grimes on their selection and performances for Roscommon U16s against Cavan in the All-Ireland Championship last Saturday in Tremane. Micheala captains the team this year, a great honour for her and the club.

All Ireland Club Finals
Best of luck to St. Brigids in the All-Ireland Club Final on St. Patrick’s Day.

Registration
Registration is currently taking place. It is important that all members register prior to 31st March. Please contact Padraig Dervin to Registrar. Membership costs are: Family €100, Adult €50, Student €30 and Juvenile €25.

Dinner Dance
St.Dominics Dinner Dance is taking place this Friday 11th March in the Hodson Bay Hotel. Tickets are still available and it is advised that tickets are purchased in advance. This is a very enjoyable night and tickets are priced at a very reasonable €35.

CLG Grants
As part of their promotion of the Irish language, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Ros Comáin are offering a number of grants to students who wish to improve their knowledge of the language. Applications are invited from full time secondary school students in Co. Roscommon. Each grant is worth €200. Students are to apply with a short essay as Gaeilge (300 words) entitled: “Tá sé mar aidhm ag Cumann Lúthchleas Gael tacaíocht a thabhairt don Ghaeilge, damhsa Gaelach, ceol, amhránaíocht agus cultúr Gaelach” plus an application form which can be downloaded from the Scór section of
www.gaaroscommon.ie Completed applications should be forwarded to Tomás Ó Muirí, Oifigeach Cultúr agus Gaeilge,
Roscommon County Board Office, 5 Castle View, Castle Street, Roscommon on or before Friday 18th March 2011, or via e-mail at irishculturalofficer.roscommon@gaa.ie Applications after this date will not be accepted.
