Ladies Football: On Saturday morning last our U-6, U-8 and U-10 girls enjoyed their last training session of the season. The coaches would like to thank all the girls for their hard work and participation all season. We hope to see you all back again next year. Our job is made so much easier when we have such a good network of coaches, parents and supporters and Gemma running it all behind the scenes. Thank you all. Our U-14 ladies play Padraig Pearses in their Championship final on Sunday, 23rd September, venue and time to be confirmed. Well done to our Junior ladies on their 1-11 to 1-10 win over Éire Óg in their Championship. It was a physical encounter with both teams evenly matched. Anya Coyle did an excellent job as sweeper with Áine O’Meara’s lightening pace a joy to watch. Adele Corcoran did an excellent job in defence. The stiff breeze made scores difficult to convert however Aimee O’Connor and Ciara Corcoran worked hard at it. At times it seemed like Caroline Dowling and Niamh Watson were everywhere such was their work rate. Next up for the girls is St. Faithleachs, venue and day to be confirmed.

Minor Hurling: The U-14 hurlers travelled to Pairc Ciaran in Athlone on Sunday morning, 9th September, where they played Southern Gaels, in preparation for their upcoming B semi-final. Thank you to Southern Gaels for their hospitality.

We were delighted to work with the underage members of our club last year and we hope they all enjoyed the experience. New members always welcome and all help will be gratefully accepted.
