Club AGM: The Club AGM will be held on Friday 17th November.

Social Initiative Outing: Not many places left for the Social Initiative outing which will take place on Wednesday 1st November 2017. This year the plan is to go to Belfast and take in both the Titanic Experience and the Black Cab Tour which gives us an in depth insight into our troubled past. We will be travelling in style once again this year on the Club Rossie bus and an evening meal will be provided, together with refreshments during the day. The Health and Wellbeing: The Health and Wellbeing Committee have organised a talk on the issues of Substance Abuse, Gambling Addiction and Mental Health, on Friday 24th November in Culleen Hall. The speakers are Niall McNamee, Justin Campbell and J. Tiernan. All are welcome.

Camogie: Our Hodson Bay Hotel sponsored senior team won the Pat Barrett Connacht Junior A Cup Final on Saturday evening, 28th October, in Woodmount. After the best game of Camogie this year playing Shamrocks from Loughrea, Co. Galway, the girls battled through to win on a scoreline of 1-14 to 1-13, after extra time. Normal time finished 1-9 to 1-9. Well done to all involved.

Senior Football: Senior Football AGM will be held on Friday 3rd November at 8:30pm in the meeting room. The U20 Division 1B Championship commenced Sunday 29th October with an away game against Clann na nGael team who were convincing winners. In the next round the U20 team are scheduled to play Roscommon Gaels on Sunday 5th November at 12 at home.

Senior Hurling: Senior Hurling AGM will be held Sunday 5th November at 5pm.

Minor Hurling: Indoor hurling for our U-8 and U-10 boys continues at St. John’s Community Centre, parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the games whilst helping the teams get ready , thank you.

Coaching and Games: The county board have scheduled coaching courses in both Hurling and Football over the coming weeks . Anyone that has not completed the Level 1, or Foundation course and would like to do so, should email our Ollie, Games Promotion Officer (GPO) to book a place Oliver.lennon.gpo.roscommon@gaa.ie).
