Senior Football: Intermediate: Dominics play Oran in Round 2 of the Championship on Sunday next 31st in Oran at 2.30pm. Oran will be hot favourites for this Match but Dominics will hope for an improved performance from Round 1 when they went down easily to Fuerty. Division 4 League: Dominics made the long journey to Ballyfarnan to play St. Ronans on Wednesday last and in the end had to be content with a draw on a scoreline of 1-14 to 2-11. This is a game that Dominics should have won but conceded a goal and two points in the last five minutes. St. Ronans with the aid of the breeze led 0-7 to 0-3 after 20 minutes but a Darren Donnelly goal and a Niall Carney point levelled matters. St. Ronans got a late point to lead by 0-9 to 1-5 at the break. Dominics opened up a 3 point lead early in the second half only to concede a soft Goal to lose the advantage. Again, they took control to lead by 5 points with five minutes remaining. Credit goes to St. Ronans for a strong finish to force a draw.
