Senior Football: The Monthly Football meeting takes place this Tuesday night,  at 9pm in the Meeting room. Intermediate Football Championship: St. Dominics 1-13 Kilbride 3-11. St. Dominics lost out in this crucial Championship encounter played in Kilbride on Saturday evening, 6th August. Kilbride can thank the brilliance of Conor Devaney for their victory but St. Dominics will rue two missed goal chances early in the game when they led by five points. An eleven point lead would have all but closed out the game. The teams were level on five occasions in the game and that was the situation with twelve minutes remaining but Kilbride finished the stronger and won out by a four point margin in the end. This now means that Dominics will have to win both remaining games against Kilmore and Fuerty to guarantee a quarter final place. This is the second year in a row that the U10s have won the ‘A’ final against the same opposition. There were some brilliant performances all round in the team and they represented the club with distinction showing great competitiveness and sportsmanship. Congratulations to Ken Duggan and his team of mentors.
