Senior Hurling: St. Dominics hurling club would like to congratulate Liam Kilcline, Ciaran Shaw, Naos Connaughton and the rest of the Roscommon hurling team and management on winning the Nicky Rackard final on Saturday. The junior hurlers are playing Pearses in the County semi-final on Wednesday evening in Athleague at 8pm. Your support would be gratefully appreciated.

Senior Football: The monthly meeting of the Senior Football Club takes place on this Tuesday night, 9th June, at 9pm in the meeting room. Our O’Gara Cup match against Creggs on Sunday last and our Division 4 league game against Elphin on Wednesday are both postponed to a later date. The O’Gara Cup game against Clan on Friday next is in doubt so please check fixture list. Best wishes to Anthony Kelly who gets married this weekend.

Camogie: U8 and U10 training continues on Thursday evenings at 7pm on the back pitch. The U8’s play in their next blitz on our home pitch next Saturday, 13th of June at 11am. The next U10 blitz will be on the 26th of June and will be hosted by Roscommon Gaels. Spare hurls and helmets are available from the club for those who wish to try out camogie for a few sessions before buying their own. Training continues for U12’s on Monday evenings at 5.30pm. U14 training continues on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. The girls are training hard in anticipation of their trip to Féile in Cookstown on June 26th. Senior Camogie training continues on Monday evenings at 7.30pm and Saturdays at 10am. All players are asked to attend as the Junior championship starts in two weeks.

Ladies Football: St.Dominic’s U12 ladies played their Championship B semi-final against St. Brigid’s on Tuesday last, well done to all for the great team effort. Everyone played their hearts out and never gave up – even if the result did not go our way. Thanks also to all the parents for their commitment and support over the last number of months. They can enjoy a short break and training will continue as normal next Tuesday. Training for Minor and Junior ladies will take place this week on Tuesday and Friday from 7pm to 8pm. All welcome, please note the extra day.

Summer Camp. St Dominics will host a GAA Kellogg’s Cúl Camp on the week of Monday 13th to Friday 17th of July. This will be for both hurling and football as well as other fun games and activities.
