Senior Hurling: Senior hurling AGM is scheduled for Friday, 5th October at 9pm.

Senior Football: Senior Football are scheduled to play Tansey Cup fixture versus Ballinameen on Sunday 7th October at 12:00pm in Davonna Park, Ballinameen.

Ladies Football: Well done to St. Dominics Minor ladies, they had a thrilling encounter with St. Faithleachs winning on a scoreline of 9-21 to 7-10. Thanks to St. Brigid’s for the use of their facilities, and to the many vocal supporters who cheered the girls on. Next up the Junior ladies take on Castlerea in their Championship Semi-final, fixture to be confirmed. Well done to our dual players both minor and junior, they had a busy weekend playing their Semi-final on Friday night and enjoying two victories Saturday and Sunday with the Camogie. Ladies Football AGM is scheduled for Friday 12th October at 8pm.

Camogie: Congratulations and well done on the double to our Hodson Bay Hotel sponsored Senior team who defeated Oran in the Roscommon Senior B final on a scoreline of St Dominics 3-19 to Oran 0-02. A brilliant squad performance was a tribute to the dedication and hard work this group of girls have put into Camogie over the past few seasons. This was the second outing of the weekend for these girls, as on Saturday they played Salthill Knocknacarra Camogie, in a playoff to decide the final Semi-final spot in the Galway Junior A championship. In a superb display, the girls emerged with victory on a scoreline of St. Dominics 3-17 to Salthill 3-06. They now play Ballindereen in the Semi-final next weekend. Well done to the U-10s who played at half time in the Senior A final and showed that the future is very bright for St. Dominics Camogie.

Minor Hurling: After five months of training our outdoor Hurling season for U-6, U-8 and U-10 finished on the 26th of September. Indoor hurling for U-6 and U-8 will begin on Friday, 12th October, in St. John’s Community Centre Lecarrow. Please register for U-6 U-8 in St. John’s Community Centre. Our U-12 hurlers season came to an end on Friday 28th of September last when they tasted defeat for only the second time, when they lost the replay of the Galway hurling league to a very good Ahascragh/Fohenagh team in Duggan Park Ballinasloe. A huge thank you to our coaches and umpires who contributed so much to the team all season also a team can only do well with the support of the people working on their behalf all year, so a huge thank you to our minor hurling Secretary Helen Dowling and the minor hurling committee. Minor Football: Well done to the U16s in their Halligan Insurances Football Championship Semi-final. St. Dominic’s G.A.A. Club 4-7 (19) Oran (Football) 2-9 (15). The Final is now scheduled for Sunday 7th October versus Kilbride/Tuilsce in Kilbride at 2pm.

Scór: Scór AGM originally scheduled for this Sunday, 23rd September, will take place on Monday, 1st October in the meeting room at 7:30pm with registration at 8:30pm. New members always welcome and all help will be gratefully accepted.
