Minor Football: U8: The Ultan Feeley Tournament took place on Saturday 26th September. The Club welcomed Roscommon Gaels, Clann nan Gael and St Brigids to Knockcroghery for what was an excellent days football. There was without doubt some stars of the future on display. The Gaels were crowned Cup Champions while St Dominics were victorious in the Shield Final. Well done to all concerned and a big thank you to all who helped out on the day. U10: The Fr. Killion Memorial Tournament was held last Sunday 27th September. We had the pleasure of the company of two clubs from outside the county. Athlone made the short trip across the Shannon to defend the title they won last year, and they did it in style. The Dominics lads claimed the Shield title after a great final game against Drumcliff, Rosses Point who made the long trip from Sligo. All players and mentors should be proud of the displays on the day and there was some fine football played by all present. A big thank you to all who helped out, particularly to Tracy and Sinéad for all their hard work. U12: Commiserations to our U12 Division 5 team who lost out in the league Semi-Final to a very strong Roscommon Gaels team. This group of lads have made great progress this year. Keep up the good work. Football Féile: Training continues on Thursday 1st October from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
