Summer Camp. St Dominics will host a GAA Kellogg’s Cúl Camp on the week of Monday 13th to Friday 17th of July. This will be for both hurling and football as well as other fun games and activities. Places can be booked online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie There will be no club organised summer camp this year.

St Dominic’s Coaching & Games Committee will host a presentation on Sunday evening 17th May at 6pm in Culleen hall. The presentation is open to all club members, in particular coaches, players (u14s & up) and parents. There will be 4 local presenters on the evening who will focus on the areas of coaching, injury recovery & prevention, respect for match officials and nutrition. No charge. We look forward to seeing you on the night.

Senior Football: Intermediate championship match versus Fuerty is rescheduled to Friday 15th of May at 7.45pm at home. Junior match versus St Bridget’s is Saturday 16th of May at 7.30pm in Ballyforan.

Senior Hurling: The senior hurlers are scheduled to play Roscommon Gaels in the Group B of the League on Sunday 17th May at home.

Camogie: Under 8 and Under 10 training continues on Thursday at 6.15pm and Under 12’s on Monday at 5.30pm. All are very welcome. Commiserations to our Under 14 team who were defeated by Four Roads in the County Final of the Féile Competition last week. It was a great achievement to reach the County Final. Congratulations to the management and panel involved. The girls gained valuable match experience which they will take with them when they travel to Féile in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone on the 18th of June. Ladies Football: Training for u10 ladies continues Saturday’s from 10 to 11am, weather permitting. Congratulations to all who made their First Holy Communion over the weekend. Our u12 ladies versus Roscommon Gales in round 5 of the Championship is rescheduled to Thursday 14th of May at 6.30pm at home. Our senior ladies played an outstanding fixture in the adult league against St.Croans winning on a scoreline of 6-8 to 7-4. Training continues Friday evenings from 7 to 8 pm for our minor and junior ladies. Adult League Division 1 final between Clann na nGael and Strokestown will be hosted at St. Dominic’s pitch next Sunday May 17th at 4pm.
