Senior Hurling: Senior Hurling: An unlucky St. Dominic’s side were beaten in the second match in the senior hurling league today, Sunday 8th April. A great display of hurling from both sides. St. Dominic’s were slow getting a score in the first half. They really showed their skill in the second half and were all over the field to lead by a goal with five minutes remaining. A late goal from Four Roads made the sides level, 1-10 to 1-10. A free was given in additional time and unfortunately for…r the hard working St. Dominic’s team it brought Four Roads in front. Final score: St. Dominic’s 1-10 Four Roads 1-11. Team: 1.Declan Dowling 2.Fergal Hoare 3.Noel Moran 4.Mike Feeley 5.Tommy Doyle 6.Ciaran Hunt 7. Anthony O’Riordan 8. Ronan Kilcline 9. Mìcheal Byrne 0-3 10. Mike Joe Egan 0-2 11. Naos Connaughton 0-2 12. Sean Naughton 13. Cormac Miley 1-0 14. John Murray 0-1 15. Mark Miley 0-2

Senior Football: A meeting of Senior Football will take place this Friday, 13th April at 8pm in the meeting room. We had a great win in the Tansey Cup yesterday after being down at half time. Kilbride 0-12 (12) St. Dominics 2-8 (14). Kilbride led by 0-8 to 0-3 at half time and looked certain winners but St. Dominics responded well in the second half and despite been down to fourteen men they outplayed and outscored their opponents to run out worthy winners and stay at the top of the table. This will give the team confidence going into next Sundays Championship match against intermediate favourites Fuerty but they know they will have to improve to make it a close contest against Fuerty. Team: – M Miley, M Feeley, C Hunt, R Byrne, K Dockery, M Byrne, T Doyle, M McGloin, R Morris, C Murray, E McCormack, D Byrne, D Keenan, N Connaughton, D Donnelly. Well done to all involved. The Mulryan Construction Intermediate Championship starts next Sunday, 15th April, in Hyde Park versus Fuerty at 2.45pm. The game will be preceded by Kilbride v St. Aidans at 1pm. All support welcome.
