Senior Football: Division 4 game against St. Josephs is this Wednesday 29th July at 8pm in Kilteavan. O’Gara Football League: St. Dominics got back to winning ways when they defeated a spirited Creggs side on Sunday last in Knockcroghery 2-7 to 0-10. Conditions were difficult but Dominics got the ideal start when Kenny O’Beirne finished to the net after three minutes. Creggs then took control and scored three points on the trot to level matters. Two Darren Donnelly points before the break left it 1-2 to 0-4 at half-time. St. Dominics made a couple of changes and added more pace to the game and this allowed scope for our forwards. Two points from Conor Fallon and one from Donnelly had the sides level with 15 minutes remaining. Further points from Kyran Dockery and Conor Fallon opened up a two point gap and then the all important score arrived when Darren Donnelly finished off a move to the net. From there in Dominics were comfortable and secured the two points.
